Link: http://www.dagupanbangusfestival.com/We are proud to announce that Dagupan is once again celebrating this April the world record breaking event, Bangus Festival, where we achieved the feat of having grilled over 24,000 pieces of bangus stretching to two kilometers! This is the fifth year of this Festival, the certified Guinness World Record holder for the longest barbecue. No wonder, last year alone, the “Kalutan” (the huge barbecue party) drew a crowd of half a million visitors and participants.
Combined with other visitors for other events, the festival attracted over a million people. Our crowd record indicated that — aside for Dagupenos and Pangasinenses — about 500,000 to 600,000 visitors came from North and Central Luzon, Metro Manila and the rest of the country including a significant number of tourists and diplomats from other countries.
